This is a Toffee Mocha I made yesterday and I'm quite proud of how aesthetically pleasing it turned out. :)

Why am I so grumpy and listless?
I slept a decent amount last night. I'm chalking it up to a cumulative effect of the overall week (Mondays are my Fridays FYI).

I'm trying so hard to be happy, shiny barista boy, but man, I am SO not feeling it. *sigh*

So I've had two half caff iced lattes so far today, which for me, who primarily drinks decaf, that's a lot of caffeine. Most people seem entertained, but they might secretly be afraid, or perhaps they believe I'm on amphetamines. Anyway, point is, I'm hyper.

Becca: I don't go around advertising the fact that I watch illegal movies on my computer.
Me: Yeah, like porn!
Becca: Porn's not illegal.

I have felt blah, and ugg, and not myself all day. I have no clue what's causing this malaise. However, feeling like this makes me insanely productive at work. I've already completed 4 day's worth of special projects and I still have hours to go ( Read more... )

So, my closing barista came in whiter than a snowstorm, and he was trundling more than really walking. Becca recommended that he see if someone could cover for him. Okay, so this incredibly tall, dark, and handsome guy just came in for coffee. We're supposed to chat people up while we're making their drinks, it's part of what we do.
